Fantasi-Fabrikken was established September 1, 1995, but has been in business under the name Mykle Illustrasjoner (Mykle Illustrations) since 1985. The company develops its own creative ideas and turns them into specific entertainment concepts and business opportunities. Examples of this today are amongst others Little Grey Fergie and The Forest People, which has been made into films, TV series, books, stage plays, CDs and a range of spin-off products and merchandise. New concepts, universes and characters are also being created and developed continuously. The company used to take on work from external publishers and PR companies, mainly script developing, photography, illustration and graphic design, but today works primarily with its own concepts and ideas.
